FAQ

Will I feel any pain after treatment?

Many patients typically experience immediate pain relief following treatment. However, within 2–4 hours post-treatment, some may encounter mild soreness in the treated area. Fortunately, this soreness is generally reported as tolerable and non-limiting.

How many treatments will I need and how often?

The number of treatments required varies based on the specific condition and the individual’s response to therapy. As the effects of treatment accumulate over time, multiple sessions are often necessary. Fortunately, many patients experience immediate relief following their initial treatment. Typically, most conditions require between 6 and 12 sessions, spaced 7-8 days apart, depending on the patient’s tolerance and tissue response.

Does the treatment hurt?

Patients may experience a slight discomfort during treatment, which can vary based on the level of pain they are already experiencing in the area. However, this discomfort is typically tolerable for most patients. Moreover, the intensity of the treatment can be adjusted as needed throughout the session to ensure the patient’s comfort.

What is Shockwave Therapy?

Shockwave therapy utilizes acoustic waves to target painful spots and myoskeletal tissues afflicted with subacute, subchronic, and chronic conditions. This high-energy approach promotes the regeneration and reparative processes of bones, tendons, and other soft tissues. Characterized by abrupt changes in pressure, high amplitude, and nonperiodicity, shockwaves effectively penetrate the tissue. The kinetic energy generated by compressed air propels a projectile, transferring energy to the transmitter at the applicator’s end and subsequently into the affected tissue.

What is Knee on Trac?

Knee On Trac is a non-invasive therapy designed to alleviate knee pain and improve joint function through a process known as knee decompression. By applying gentle traction to the knee joint, Knee On Trac aims to reduce pressure, relieve inflammation, and promote healing. This innovative treatment modality helps to create space within the joint, allowing for improved circulation and the delivery of essential nutrients to damaged tissues. Knee On Trac is often utilized as part of a comprehensive rehabilitation program for individuals suffering from conditions such as osteoarthritis, ligament injuries, and chronic knee pain. With its customizable treatment parameters and minimal risk of complications, Knee On Trac offers a safe and effective alternative to traditional interventions such as surgery or medication.
